Acupuncturist

STEPHANIE LEKAWA, L.Ac., MSOM

Stephanie’s unique approach to acupuncture provides her patients with a tailored healing regimen that balances the entire system. She received her Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. She went on to learn gentle needling techniques, in the Japanese styles of Kototame and Toyohari.

Previously trained as a chef, her focus on nutrition treats food as the medicine it is. Combining this deep knowledge of food with Traditional Chinese Medicine practices allows her to coach patients in choosing foods to balance qi and heal their bodies in the best way possible.

Gentle needling techniques, focused energy work, nutritional guidance, herbal medicine, and cupping combine fluidly to provide comprehensive care to her patients. This balanced approach means that her techniques vary from person to person, based on each individual’s needs.

In her free time, Stephanie loves to spend time with her son and her dog, outside in nature, or curled up with a cup of tea and a podcast.
